LOCOG Chair Seb Coe meets Youth Reporters from the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games
The lucky candidates will become members of the LOCOG Press Operations team for the London 2012 Games. Launched at the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games, the Young Reporters programme provides cross-platform journalist training and on-the-job experience for aspiring journalists between the ages of 18 and 24.
LOCOG Chair Sebastian Coe said: 'London 2012 will create compelling stories across the world – from world-class sport, to the effects the Games will have on the city of London and the UK as a whole and beyond.
'There will be over 20,000 accredited media in London who will be telling these stories, and the IOC has created a fantastic programme to develop and nurture the talents of young journalists.'
